WHO WE ARE AND WHY WE’RE HERE

We are an eager, multifaceted team of outdoor educators and enthusiasts who believe that our collective future rests on our ability to get youth outdoors. We envision a future where all young people feel a deep-rooted connection to the natural world—a place where they belong, explore, and thrive. We’ve been doing this work, together and as individuals, for many years now and we cannot wait for the day that our community becomes self-sustaining and outgrows the need for our services.

    Eva wants to help you with trip planning, equity-focused youth programming, and community-centered program facilitation. She has an M.Ed and over eight years of experience working in education and program development. 

  • jasmin

    Jasmin wants to help you design, build, and implement your outdoor program or curriculum. She’s been bringing equity to the outdoors and promoting youth education and critical pedagogy for more than fifteen years.

  • jen

    Jen wants to help you engage your community, coordinate logistics, facilitate experiential learning and self expression, and manage your outdoor gear and packing list. She has a Masters in public health and more than six years of experience in nonprofit program coordination, youth engagement and member support.  

  • nate

    Nate wants to help you plan and run your outdoor trips from start to finish. He’s worked in outdoor education for over 20 years, doing everything from state mandated science curriculum to team-building backpacking trips in challenging terrain. Nate is also an experienced mentor and has co-led hundreds of youth canoeing, xc skiing, camping, backpacking, hiking, and snowshoeing trips.

    Seb wants to help you with ANYTHING you could ever need. He’s been managing non-for-profit programs for the past fourteen years, doing curriculum development, risk management, team building, and leadership training while prioritizing creating a sense of belonging. He is always aiming to inspire a love for the natural world and foster meaningful connections.

    Zoe knows exactly what gear you need and is going to help you get it. She excels at building organized and efficient systems, loves to come along for the ride, and can always find something she’s been wanting in someone else’s giveaway pile.
